2021 Raffle of Gratitude:  Helping Rotary Help 100 Mile House and Beyond

Rotary 100 Mile House is seeking your support!  Our first annual Raffle of Gratitude will help raise funds to support two groups in our community to whom we will always be grateful: our Volunteer Firefighters, and our Seniors.

Volunteer firefighters put themselves between harms way and ourselves without hesitation.  They are truly heroes of our community.  We are especially reminded of this now, when the forest fire hazard is extreme.  Part of the proceeds from this raffle will go to our volunteer firehalls to help equip them with the tools they need to keep us all safe.

For 41 years Rotary 100 Mile has sponsored an annual Senior’s Christmas Dinner, to acknowledge and thank our seniors for their lifetimes of achievement, service and wisdom.  They are an important pillar of our community.  Your support through this raffle will allow us to continue this tradition on to its 42nd year.

Our local Rotary club is committed to community service and involvement. Some of our recent contributions include donating funds towards the purchase of a defibrillator to the 108 Mile Ranch Volunteer firehall, purchasing two special order visitor chairs for 100 Mile’s Palliative Care Unit, and our community’s town clock. As part of Rotary’s global community we have recently contributed a water transport program in Africa, and helped raise funds that were applied to helping eradicate Polio. A portion of the proceeds from this raffle will be set aside to support future and ongoing community services..

We are grateful for your interest and support.  Thank you for your help so that we can help others.
